Counsellor and Psychotherapist in Central Cambridge
My name is Susie Renshaw and I provide counselling and psychotherapy in central Cambridge, within a confidential and professional environment.
I am addition to my private practice work, I have provided a student counselling service at St John's College, University of Cambridge since 2015.
I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Registered and Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and have provided counselling and psychotherapy since 2002.
I am also training to be a supervisor with Cambridge Supervision Training. As part of my training, I am required to start working with a small number of supervisees and am, therefore, currently offering low-cost supervision.
What I offer
Trained in integrative counselling, I draw from three main approaches: Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
I offer focused, short-term counselling (typically 6-8 appointments) as well as long-term therapy for anyone wanting to work in more depth.
I can help with a wide range of problems including low mood, depression, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, grief/bereavement and loss, eating problems, relationships, low self-esteem, identity, work or study issues and student issues in general.
I am currently providing counselling and psychotherapy online. When I return to face-to-face appointments, I will be offering appointments at two central Cambridge locations.
Cambridge Flourishing, a centre for health and wellbeing. The centre is conveniently located in a quiet road, just off Mill Road.
Salus Wellness, a welcoming complementary health clinic. The clinic is just off Hills Road, between the city centre and the train station.
Regular appointments are available on Tuesdays between 9.30am and 5pm. All appointments are booked until March 2021.
